Songwriter Camp - Ages 12-15

Anna Kline of Grits and Soul will be the instructor at our new Songwriter Camp. This 5 day camp for ages 12-15 starts on Monday, June 17th at 9am and ends at 12pm. Snacks will be provided each day at camp. The camp is limited to 12 participants. When signing up, you will be required to fill out a medical and social media release. Thanks to the generosity of Traditional Bank, we have limited scholarships available. Please contact if you would like to apply for a scholarship.

Anna Kline is a songwriter and musician in the band Grits & Soul. She has led workshops on traditional music influences on songwriting, was a featured speaker on coordinating music events at “Back Stage Pass” hosted the Mississippi Arts Commission, and coordinated the first-ever Mississippi music showcase at SXSW. She served as a counselor and instructor for 3 years at the Kids Music Camp at The Swannanoa Gathering in North Carolina and for the Canton Young Filmmakers Camp in Mississippi. She is a teaching assistant and workshop leader at Cowan Creek Music School 2019 and a vocal instructor at Girls Rock! Whitesburg for the second year in a row. She also recently earned her certification as a Community Scholar through the Kentucky Arts Council.
