What is the Youth Poet Ambassador Program?
The Youth Poet Ambassador Program is a statewide opportunity for young writers across Kentucky to grow their creative voice while engaging with their community through the arts. A select small group of ambassadors will be chosen to support and participate in literary-themed events at the Gateway Regional Arts Center (GRAC). Through this experience, participants gain volunteer service hours, connect with other creatives, and deepen their understanding of how the arts can bring people together.

April 1, 2026 - Applications Open
April 17, 2026 — Applications close, or earlier if submission cap is reached
April 24, 2026 — 3 selected winners announced
